#2 Boston’s Pizza Restaurants, LP (Long Beach & Rancho Cucamonga)

Boston’s The Gourmet Pizza Restaurant & Sports Bar – http://www.bostons.com – does something a little extra special to give back at all of their locations. Orange County’s closest is located at 90 Aquarium Way, Long Beach, CA 90802. San Bernardino’s restaurant is located at 11260 4th Street, Rancho Cucamonga, CA 91730. They both sell heart shaped pizzas and paper hearts to support St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Kids Matter International (KMI), The Children’s Miracle Network, Juvenille Diabetes Research Foundation, Diabetes, Inc., American Heart Association and 8 other charitable organizations that help with food, health or animal needs. While a pizzeria and sports bar might not be your valentine’s idea of a romantic night on the town, it could be fun because of the cause and their popular gluten-free brownie a la mode dessert (YUM). Crystal Limousines & Tours could always ride your sweetie and you to pick up a heart shaped pizza and spend a romantic night on the town. #3 Los Angeles Zoo and Botanical Gardens

This one sounds a little bizarre at first, but they say it’s an annual “must see”. The Los Angeles Zoo is hosting “Sex and the City Zoo III” – http://www.lazoo.org/valentinesday/index.html – where the topic of Valentine’s Day is “celebrating animal mating, dating, and cohabitating with a provocative “birds and bees” presentation by Zoo veteran Jason Jacobs, who will share some of his insights about the pros and cons of relationships and staying single in the jungle with this light-hearted and informative lecture.” This is an OVER 21 event with complimentary long stem roses for the ladies, sweet treats and champagne or sparkling wine for the seated guests. You can treat your sweetheart to a romantic dinner at the zoo, too. You might think that this goes right up there with all of the crazy things to do in Los Angeles, but the zoo gets quite a turn out and this is their 3rd year. Omni San Diego Hotel (675 L Street San Diego, CA 92101) is hosting their 1st Beer and Chocolate Valentine’s Ball at the Omni San Diego Hotel from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Complete with paintings and fine art from their “L Street Fine Art”, chocolates from Chuao Chocolatier, beer and brewing lessons courtesy of Karl Strauss Brewing Company. This is something a little different for your San Diego Valetine’s Day and all proceeds are donated to the San Diego Art Institute Museum of Living Artist.

#5 The Cheesecake Factory (Los Angeles, Riverside, San Diego & More)
