Cars Land Premier & Disney California Adventure Park Reopening

It was an exciting night in Anaheim, CA tonight and our chauffeur Shaq was there to witness it all while escorting Bradford Lund & Party to and from the Cars Land Grand Opening at the Disney California Adventure Park (1313 S. Disneyland Drive Anaheim, CA 92802). They rode in our 10 passenger Lincoln Town Car Limousine for the Cars event and the picture above was taken outside of the Grand Californian Disneyland Hotel & Spa (1600 Disneyland Drive Anaheim, CA 92803). The revved up Cars Land grand opening was a red carpet event with the following celebrities and VIPs attending the fuel fun premier:

• Daniel Lawrence Whitney – actor / country vocalist and infamous comedian “Larry The Cable Guy” and the voice of Mater in Cars.
• Katherine Helmond – actress best known for numerous movies and TV shows including the part of Mona on Who’s The Boss during the 80s and esrly 90s and the voice of Lizzie in Cars,
• Michael Wallis – historian, journalist, author of 17 books and the voice of the Sheriff in Cars.
• Edie McClurg – actress that played the secretary in Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, Lucille Tarlek on WKRP in Cincinnati, as well as voices in the Jetson’s, The Little Mermaid and so many other animations. McClurg is the voice of Minny in Cars.
• Richard Kind – Popular Broadway and television actor, as well as the voice of Molt in Bugs Lide and the voice of Van in Cars.
• Bonnie Hunt – the voice of Sally in Cars.
• John Ratzenberger – Well known as Cliff from the TV show Cheers in the 80s / early 90s and his roles in Superman, Superman II, The Empire Strikes Back, as well as the voices as Hamm in Toy Story 1,2 & 3, The Underminer in the The Incredibles and numerous other animations. Ratzenberger is the voice of Mack the Truck in Cars.
• Brad Garret – the Comedian and Actor from Everybody Loves Raymond, Stuart Little 2, etc. and well known by children as the voice of Pufferfish in Finding Nemo.
• Andy Garcia – actor from The Godfather: Part III, Oceans Eleven, Twelve and Thirteen, The Untouchables and numerous popular movies and TV shows.
• Ariel Winter, Rico Rodriguez and Nolan Gould from ABC’s Modern Family.
• Zendaya and Bella Thorne from the Disney Channel’s “Shake It Up” show.
• Ginnifer Goodwin – actress from Ramona and Beezus, Walk The Line, Mona Lisa Smile.
• Josh Dallas – actor from Thor, Ghost Machine, etc. and popular TV roles in CSI, Once Upon A Time, Hawaii Five-O, etc.

Plus, so many other memorable celebrities and VIPs in addition to Disney’s grandson Bradford Lund.

Cars Land “Opens For Business” & Bringing Radiator Springs To Life!

Cars Land is scheduled to open for the public on June 15, 2012. It features the town of Radiator Springs with all of the popular Cars characters hosting a location for your enjoyment including Mater’s Junkyard Jamboree, Cozy Cone Motel, Radiator Springs Curios, Luigi’s Flying Tires, Radiator Springs Racers, Ramones’s House of Body Art, Flo’s V8 Cafe, Sarges Surplus Hut and Fillmore’s Taste In. We strongly suggest that you put your child on your lap and take a peak at their entertaining webpage for Cars Land (http://disneyland.disney.go.com/disneys-california-adventure/cars-land). There are intros to all of the rides and fun things to do at Cars Land as well as the ability to customize your experience while browsing the website.

Disney California Adventure Park Grand Reopening

Although the bulk of the event was in honor of the new Buena Vista Street and Pixel Cars Land, Erin Glover of Disney Parks Blog (http://disneyparks.disney.go.com) posted her media announcement of the event as the “Grand Reopening” of the Disney California Adventure Park. The park’s grand reopening event will occur on Friday, June 15, 2012 (same day that Cars Land will open for the public). You can join Twitter conversations at #CarsLand, #BuenaVistaStreet, #MadTParty and #JustGotHappier. There will be many name changes to look for in addition to the new Buena Vista Ave and Cars Land.
