3 Things To Remember To Plan With Your Wedding
Congratulations On Your Engagement! Wedding Planning Tips
This is a special message to all of the “brides to be” that are currently planning a wedding in Southern California. Let us be be one of the first to say “congratulations” on your engagement! No other day in your life will be as focused on you as your wedding day. As such, you want your special day to reflect your months of wedding planning and attention to detail.
By now, you already know the basics of wedding planning and the timelines associated with it: sending out “save-the-date cards” six months before the wedding, booking a florist at least 5 months in advance to guarantee that flowers are available and perfect, start trying on wedding dresses as soon as you become engaged, and it is best to book your wedding limousine(s) well in advanced (when you send out the invitations) because it might not be available on the weekend / day that you need if you wait to late. You know the basics, but there are other details that usually go unnoticed–details that if unplanned usually mean stress for the bride.
To help alleviate some of that stress, here are three details you might have forgotten:
#1 Foster Your Face – Brides want clear skin and a flawless face on their wedding day, but that look takes months of preparation. If you aren’t already, become dedicated now to clearing up your skin. Along with washing and moisturizing, eliminate greasy foods from your diet as much as possible as this aids in breakouts and try eating more fruits and vegetables.
#2 Check the Weather – This seems like a no-brainer, but many brides forget to check the long-term weather forecast as they consider outdoor weddings. Check weather patterns for your big day, and if you are planning a destination wedding, check weather conditions there, along with tide changes, hurricane season, and other events related to your location.
#3 DO NOT Send “Aunt Flo” An Invite – An unavoidable event occurs every month for every woman, and often brides with long engagements accidentally schedule their ceremonies during this “time”. To avoid any mishaps or honeymoon horror story, figure out when your cycle will take place the month of your wedding and schedule as needed.
Your wedding day is the most important day of your life. It should be the time of your life with your new husband, family and friends, rather than worrying about details. Avoid the potential of stress on your wedding day by making sure to thoroughly plan ahead and don’t forget to add these three detailsto your list.
We hope these tips were helpful to you.
